SEN Primary School Teaching Assistant - St Albans

Are you looking for a new role in education as an SEN Primary School Teaching Assistant? Love supporting children? Are you local to the St Albans area?


If so, we are recruiting a Primary School Teaching Assistant to work within a fantastic school, located in the heart of the St Albans area.

This will be a full time role, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 15:30PM.

In this role as a Primary School TeachingAssistant, you will be required to primarily support a year 5 child on a one to one basis with autism who is in Key Stage 2 so SEN experience with children is preferred in some capacity.

The Role:


  • Primary School Teaching Assistant to support a year 5 pupil
  • Work collaboratively with the multiprofessional team of therapists and Teachers to help children progress forward in their learning as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class as a Primary School Teaching Assistant

Requirements:


  • Available to work 08:30am to 15:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment
  • Passion for working with children and/or young adults as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
  • Live local to St Albans or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
