Description

In the role you'll lead a team of marketing professionals across both channel and communication teams to successfully support the delivery of the Group strategy, build strong relationships with our advisers and firms, and create great content that engages customers and demonstrates how we can help them achieve their financial goals.


You will be curious and an ambassador; focused on making sure the basics are delivered brilliantly and looking for new ways to improve, enhance and enable us to stand out from the crowd.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Design, create and deliver an integrated marketing strategy that delivers on defined commercial targets.
  • Recruit, manage and motivate and retain employees to build strong marketing capability to deliver business/partner growth.
  • Build strong relationships with firms within the Partnership and be recognised as a prominent and accessible advocate for Marketing across the business.
  • Thought leadership of the broader senior management team.
  • Ensure the marketing programmes are aligned with the longerterm strategic focus, and resources are identified to enable effective deployment.
  • Colead with data lead, defining data analysis, and combining it with market and client research to create a clear view of prospects and customers' circumstances, behaviours, and needs.
  • Lead & support customer and market insight and research programmes including customer segmentation/ providing a clear target market focus for the development of marketing programmes and wider proposition development, as well as Increasing regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of an integrated cross functional approach to the planning, implementation, measurement, and improvement of marketing programmes.
  • Define and mobilise the resources to deliver compelling client propositions, on a single or multiproduct basis, ensuring advice and guidance consistent with our Values.
  • Define and help develop the engagement and channel capabilities required to deliver profitable marketing programmes.
  • Ensure effective implementation of marketing programmes, monitor, and evaluate performance and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Deliver a compelling calendar of quality events, that add value to colleagues, advisers and clients and underpinned by brand values.
  • Oversee curation of PR & content strategy and approach, integrating PR into all plans, building profile of Openwork's locally in community and nationally through thought leadership in chosen markets.
