Tuesday to Saturday 2PM -10PM
We have an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join IHSS team based in Park Royal.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in all aspects of the Decontamination and decontamination process in line with the IHSS Quality Management System

Ensure records are maintained to demonstrate completion of process in line with work procedures and QMS.
Responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of all technicians across production areas.
Keep the Production Manager fully informed regarding all aspects of the areas under the Production Manager's control.
Where required support Production Manager in the undertaking of their daily production tasks in line with Job Description.
If required, carry out daily liaison with customers.
Prepare, test, load and operate decontamination and sterilisation equipment
Carry out automatic control test and cleaning efficiency test for residual soil on washer/disinfectors; carry out daily testing on large porous load sterilisers and complete test records and log books accurately and concisely
Prepare, monitor and maintain materials and equipment for decontamination and sterilisation procedures
Have an understanding of the monitoring and recording standards for equipment in accordance with current legislation
Maintain an operators' level of understanding of the whole decontamination process
Prioritise own and others workflow in accordance with customer schedules and ensure that Quality (SSF1) and Turnaround (SSF2) requirements are met in line with the DSA.
Sort used equipment and dispose of waste from returned items
Inspect, check and assemble equipment and instruments
Adhere to the appropriate process for dealing with damaged or dirty reusable items
Pack reusable medical devices in preparation for sterilisation
