Job Title:
Commercial Vehicle Fitter


Department:
Workshop


Reports To:
Workshop Manager


Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • General fitting/mechanical skills
  • Skilled & Semiskilled
  • Spannering/ cutting/stripping/Fitting/ bolting/fixings/ repairing all types of bodywork/replacing panels
  • Restoration and metal fabrication
  • Repairs to accident damaged vehicles
  • Stripping and refitting of interior and exterior panels and trims
  • Refurbish commercial vehicle interiors
  • Underbody protection and preservation

Qualifications:


  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working on commercial vehicles
  • Strong understanding of general fitting and mechanical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Benefits:


  • Competitive salary of £11£13 per hour dependant on experience
