REED Accountancy & Finance is working with an exciting, forward-thinking organisation in Blackburn, to recruit a Management Accountant within their busy finance team.

This role is a full-time, 6-month contract to support while a member of the team is seconded for a project with an immediate start required.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will work collaboratively with the team and be responsible for month end, ensuring high quality within the financial reporting and continuous improvement within the finance processes.

Duties will include:

Prepare monthly financial reports in line with Group deadlines
Reconciliation of the company accounts
VAT and corporate tax reporting
Budget preparation for next financial year
Quarterly forecasting
Be a Management Accountant with strong analytical skills
Good understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes
Be open and able to interact at all levels in an organisation
Have strong Excel skills
Be a qualified accountant with a CIMA or ACCA qualification

In return you will get

A salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience (pro rata)
Experience of working with an excellent, experienced team
Full time hours, Monday to Friday, with flexible working available
