BAND 3 HCSW Physiotherapy Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
37.5 hours/week permanent


Are you an experienced Health Care Support Worker used to working in a Therapy Department or a Rehab setting? Are you currently working in a ward or other care setting and looking for a new challenge? Are you motivated to develop new skills and willing to take on new roles? This post will be within our Physiotherapy team supporting services within the Acute Stroke Unit, Neurology and Neurosurgery, and other clinical areas depending on staff rotas.

This is a dynamic and busy team and the role will support and assist the Physiotherapy staff in carrying out their daily treatments and assessments.

The post will vary day to day and will include patient handling, administrative duties and communicating with family and extended multidisciplinary team.

Our department proactively supports our staff to develop and some of our HCSWs have undertaken their SVQs.


This post will primarily work weekdays but there is an expectation that services will be provided over 7 days and on public holidays.
