Quest Search & Selection are working with a fast-growing publishing house who are looking for an experienced Deputy Editor to join their growing editorial team.

Key responsibilities:

Research, source and write news stories for the digital news publication
Pitch and write features on the most exciting new technology in the retail sector
Manage and help develop one direct report, editing and providing feedback on their work
Conduct interviews and build relationships with senior business leaders
Use SEO and social media strategies to maximise online visibility of content

Key requirements:

Must have 3+ years of journalism experience and a portfolio of published articles
You must have experience working in a B2B or trade publication
Experience in covering ecommerce, technology or retail is highly desirable but not essential
Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
Be able to lead a junior journalist & interns as part of their development

Digital publishing skills

Google Analytics and WordPress (or other CMS)
