We are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Confocal Imaging Specialist to work with a leading supplier of confocal and super resolution imaging solutions to the global life science community, who has over the past 24 years established its presence in the market as an innovator, supplying prestigious institutes with cutting edge imaging solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Build, align and integrate existing and new technologies both inhouse and at customer sites.
  • Provide installation, maintenance and repair services at customer sites.
  • Work with other engineers on R&D Projects for new system developments.
Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Education to Master level in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Electrical & Electronic, Electronic & communications, electrical or similar (BEng maybe accepted depending on relevant imaging experience).
  • Previous industrial experience.
  • Must have a firm understanding of basic light microscopy and imaging.
  • Experience in optical and optomechanical instrumentation and the ability to align,
- troubleshoot and fault find complex optical systems.

  • The ability to freely travel internationally.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
