IT Solutions Engineer -Sheffield (hybrid) - £40K

Adria Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Solutions Engineer to join a well-established company with an international presence.

We are looking for an IT Solutions Engineer, who is passionate about building products that customerslove.

You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross[1]functional teams to design, build, refine, and roll out products that fulfill the needs of our customers.


Most of our products are a combination of hardware (server, storage (HDD/RAID/SAN), IP network, graphics/video decoding), and modern IT deployments (Virtual Machines, Windows Domains).

In addition, our client is transitioning their product suite into cloudservices and storage.

The IT Solutions Engineer will be required to:
Assisting with hardware development

  • Innovating new technologies for products
  • Development and testing images for the range of products
  • Assisting with product lifecycle testing
  • Supporting internal customers with Windows and Linux environments
  • Assisting with internal customer training
  • Ability to carry out technical research into new and evolving principles and technologies
The IT Solutions Engineer will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Managing and using Windows Client Operating Systems
  • Managing and using Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Operating system driver optimisations to achieve higher performance
  • Operating system settings optimisations to achieve higher performance
  • Managing and using Hyper-V including
  • Deploying virtual machines & Managing virtual machines
  • Scripting language such as PowerShell
  • Technologies for deploying operating systems such as Windows Deployment Services (WDS) and Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM)
  • Managing Active Directory and security principle
