Senior Accounts Assistants Glasgow City Centre to £30K plus benefits,

A new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join this progressive, forward thinking Accountancy Practise.

They are a company that is an absolute stand out in terms of client retention, customer service and staff progression.

This well established and successful CA Practise in central Glasgow.

The firm offers an enviable environment and reputable set up as well as long term job security for their employees.

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining client records for a varied allocation of clients, ensuring the provision of high-quality accountancy services and standards.

You will be process-driven and well-versed in full outsourced bookkeeping tasks (e.g. sales & purchase invoices and ledgers, bank reconciliations, VAT, year-end returns, etc.) You will make regular use of cloud accounting systems in supporting your clients with the requirements of Making Tax Digital.

The firm are looking for an enthusiastic addition to their team who enjoys regular contact with clients and is confident when dealing with accounts queries.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience working as an Accounts Assistant within a professional services firm.

Experience of Xero and Quick books, Sage and any other cloud-accounting systems would be highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills, time management skills and a flexible approach to support with ad hoc tasks are essential.
