Role and Responsibilities

  • To support the Team Leader in all their activities.
  • To train for the Team Leader role and act as Team Leader in their absence.
  • Ensure that equipment rounds are carried out thoroughly and on time.
  • To report all equipment defects to the team Leader.
  • Carry out plant and equipment isolations under the direction of the Team Leader and accept permits to work.
  • Assist the Team Leader in the creation of operational documentation e.g. Safe Operational Procedures.
  • Assist the Team Leader with operational training.
  • Assist the Team Leader in creating equipment reports.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance as required

You will be accountable for:

Preferred Skills

  • Previous operations experience in a steam or gas plant
  • Experience of Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out systems
  • Basic mechanical and electrical skills
  • Held a Leadership role
  • Ability to use MS Word and Excel
