Role and Responsibilities

To support the Team Leader in all their activities.
To train for the Team Leader role and act as Team Leader in their absence.
Ensure that equipment rounds are carried out thoroughly and on time.
To report all equipment defects to the team Leader.
Carry out plant and equipment isolations under the direction of the Team Leader and accept permits to work.
Assist the Team Leader in the creation of operational documentation e.g. Safe Operational Procedures.
Assist the Team Leader with operational training.
Assist the Team Leader in creating equipment reports.
Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance as required

You will be accountable for:

Preferred Skills

Previous operations experience in a steam or gas plant
Experience of Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out systems
Basic mechanical and electrical skills
Held a Leadership role
Ability to use MS Word and Excel
