Full Job Description / Designer (£24k+)

Here at Capri Fashion Ltd we are looking to recruit a Designer to focus on accessory ranges from design concept to final completion and sign off, working with innovation to continually improve and enhance product.

Capri was founded in 2017 with a vision to be the number one accessories supplier and manufacturer. We have commitment to our clients to provide the best service and product possible.

As designer, your role responsibilities will include.

Ø Working alongside our creative director, producing concept boards for multiple external brands as well as our in-house brands across both menswear and womenswear.

Ø Designing, developing, and executing a specific on-trend product range.

Ø Working with a varied range of different clients and managing communication on all design aspects.

Ø Work closely with other departments including marketing, sales and Directors to ensure designs aligns with brand DNA and goals and customer requirements.

Ø Generating design CAD's via Illustrator.

Ø Deliver fresh creative graphic and content ideas for digital and print

Ø Attending, and contributing, to the regular departmental creative meetings, identifying emerging micro and macro trends and adapt them to the brand's design philosophy.

Ø Trend research and reporting across colour, fabric, trim, shape with innovation

Ø Creation of tech packs across all product areas; Eyewear, hair Accessories, Jewellery, Softs Knits, Headwear & Bags.

Ø Take part in weekly progress update reports and participation in weekly brand meetings.

Ø Working alongside the merchandising and assisting with strike off's fitting and lab dips.

Skills

Ø Illustrator

Ø InDesign

Ø Photoshop
Ø A highly creative and imaginative individual with a constant flow of fresh ideas

Ø Previous B2B experience working in a design team in-house or agency

Ø Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials is desirable.

Ø Graphics design experience would be preferred but not essential.

Ø Excellent admin and organisational skills.

Ø Ability to multitask, think pro-actively & creatively

Ø Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Ø A team player who is friendly, adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.

Ø Commercially aware of current trends

Ø Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Qualifications
Ø Bachelor's (preferred)

Ø 3+ years in a Design Role (preferred)

Salary:
£20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
