The Bookings Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator Role
We are looking for a calm and highly organised bookings administrator and volunteer coordinator who is comfortable using a variety of systems and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Coordination
- assist with recruitment of volunteers to cover the cafe and other parts of the business as required (placing adverts and progressing responses)
- hold monthly volunteer recruitment sessions (all those who have expressed an interest in volunteering with us are invited to attend this monthly session)
- compile weekly rotas and volunteer information sheet for activities
- take up references for new volunteers and organise DBS checks
- put together volunteer induction packs
- maintain volunteer records (contacts, training, DBS, skills & preferences)
- produce a monthly volunteer newsletter
- deal with volunteer enquiries
Venue Hire and Class Bookings
- provide tutors with registers for all classes from the Bookwhen system ensuring all relevant details are included (allergens,other requirements,emergency contacts, photo consent)
General Admin Tasks
- keeping the office tidy and organised
- putting together paperwork for the monthly repair cafe
- attending monthly team meetings as required
- and only as time allows, photocopying, shredding, scanning, uploading documents to sharepoint

Is this you?
- Clear and confident communicator
- Efficient administrator
- Proficient user of the main Microsoft suite of products
- Confident adopter of new systems
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise own work
Working Hours
This is a paid role requiring a commitment of 15 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Based on site, reporting to the General Manger

£8,127.60 per year
