We are currently seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join a specialist school based on the Wirral.

In this role, you will provide one-on-one support and guidance to students dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety,attachment diorders and trauma.

The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.15pm term time only. The school is well located on trains, bus and motorway.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals dealing with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Facilitate 1:1 working environments for certain students
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in a related field (such as social work, psychology, or counselling)
  • Experience working with individuals dealing with mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a part-time position and will be required to work flexible hours.
