We are currently seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join a specialist school based on the Wirral.

In this role, you will provide one-on-one support and guidance to students dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety,attachment diorders and trauma.

The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.15pm term time only. The school is well located on trains, bus and motorway.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals dealing with mental health issues
Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of each student
Facilitate 1:1 working environments for certain students
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications:

A degree or diploma in a related field (such as social work, psychology, or counselling)
Experience working with individuals dealing with mental health issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a part-time position and will be required to work flexible hours.
