Membership Relations Adviser

We seek a membership professional to fulfil the role of
Membership Relations Adviser, reporting to the Membership Relations Manager as a key member of the organisation's External Relations team.
The role will include but not limited to:
- Supporting the strategic recruitment of new OEUK members
- Onboarding new members, manage member and nonmember communications, maintain member records, trackers, and engagement meetings.
- Understand organisational activities to be clearly articulated to potential and current members.
- Support organisationwide recording of membership engagements on CRM system (Connect)
- Support the membership team's social media activity, including content creation, working alongside internal stakeholders.
- Showcasing member news stories through various forms of online and digital media.
- Attend internal and external events and exhibitions to engage with existing members and promote OEUK's membership.
- Support the creation and development of compelling membership marketing materials for membership recruitment pack, returning member pack, and website.
- Work with stakeholders at OEUK to encourage a customer focused culture and value proposition.
- Provide content on membership matters for inclusion on OEUK website, external events and social media
- Ability to present and sell organisational values, objectives and services toa wide range of senior people within an informal and informal setting
- Quality and accuracy driven, with meticulous attention to detail and strong record keeping
- Relevant experience working preferably within a trade association or professional membership body.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ability to understand a broad range of members, and driven to identify solutions for our customers.
- Skilled communicator, verbally and written, and a confident speaker to engage with members
- Excellent knowledge of planning, administration, marketing and member relationship skills and techniques
- Ability to think clearly, creatively, and decisively
An understanding of the offshore energy industry is advantageous as well as previous experience in a similar account management, sales, or membership role.
