Who we are:

Loxley Colour is a successful, family run manufacturing business, with two sites in the UK and the Netherlands. We deliver highly regarded products and service to professional photographers across the UK and Europe.


The role:


We are looking to enhance our financial and data analysis function by appointing a Finance Business Partner to our friendly and supportive team.

This is a key strategic role which will facilitate effective decision making by providing meaningful data and insights to the executive management team.


Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing robust financial, commercial and operational analysis for use throughout the organisation.

You will drive financial process improvement and support key business projects.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Work with management throughout the organisation to define KPIs and targets.
  • Design, develop and deliver high quality management information using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing effective analysis and challenge.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, identifying key drivers for variances, and providing recommendations for actions.
  • Support data driven decision making throughout the organisation, including commercial pricing decisions and product development calculations.
  • Provide financial expertise and support to key projects, including an ERP upgrade.
  • Review and update finance processes and controls to ensure they best support the organisations goals.

Who we are looking for:


If you are a qualified accountant with experience in management accounting or finance business partnering, then this could be the opportunity for you.

To be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate:


  • Strong analytical and modelling skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel analysis skills. Previous experience of Microsoft Power BI would also be advantageous, however training will be provided.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
  • An appetite to get stuck in, learn and problem solve.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently explain management information to all levels within the organisation.
  • Success at delivering finance process improvement.
  • The ability to work independently and the gravitas to provide support and challenge to senior management.
  • Finance systems and ERP experience would be highly beneficial.
