Job role

In this role you will work with a small staff team to deliver individual education programmes to students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEN/D) typically aged 18-25.

About you
You will have experience working with people with SEN/D, ideally in an educational or work experience setting. You will be comfortable working in a person-centred way and be aspirational for the young people you work with. You will work as part of a team and promote best practice.


Person Specification
★ A qualification related to education or SEN/D or equivalent professional experience

★ Good knowledge of SEN/D

★ Passion for work in a person-centred way

★ Good written and verbal communication skills

★ An enthusiastic person who is flexible, innovative, reliable, organised, caring and has the ability to work autonomously.


Context
Bedazzle specialises in working with small numbers of students with SEND who are out of school (OOS). We develop bespoke educational packages which are delivered by teams of experienced SEN/D tutors. We work closely with families to develop appropriate programmes where the young person is central to all decision making. We prioritise staff well-being and workloads are carefully managed in order to ensure staff have excellent work-life balance.


Safeguarding
Bedazzle takes safeguarding very seriously. It's everyone's responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of our students. All staff must undergo training and comply with our safeguarding policy. You will undergo a full induction as part of this role.

If you are successful, you will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
