Description
My client is one of the leading providers of Education Software and are looking for a Project Manager to join their team.
Your primary responsibility as project manager is the developing and managing information technology projects and their cost, time, and scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create & manage project plans
- Define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress
- Align project objectives with business unit goals, and make sure project team is clear on objectives
- Help project team with the design and development tasks
- Lead process of issue identification and resolution
- Manage risk tracking process
- Monitor and manage project scope
- Manage all project documentation
- Work multiple projects within the business unit project portfolio simultaneously
- Foster partnership with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors
- Deliver training on the relevant software as and when required
Competencies:
- Three or more years project management experience in information technology I.T.
- ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred. PMP certifications preferred.
- Detailoriented
- Thrives in collaborative environment
- Good communication skills, with customers, team and stakeholders
- Business & IT strategy experience
- Customerfocused mindset
- Knowledge of related software development and project management tools
