Description
What youll do Act as our Data Protection Officer, ensuring that data protection principles are embedded in the Trust. Provide leadership and expert advice, support and assurance on information governance laws and practices for our Trust.

Ensure the effective development and implementation of policies and procedures are compliant with all relevant legislation and good practice; you will monitor and report on compliance to the Audit and Risk Committee, the Trust Executive Committee and the Quality Governance Steering Group.

As a collaborative and collegiate leader, you manage the information governance team, including the information governance officers responsible for data protection and freedom ofinformation and the disclosures team.

What were looking for Experience of UK or European data protection law and practice including UK GDPR/GDPR. Recent experience in an information governance, data security or records management role.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with a track record of producing concise and informative reports at the Board level.

An ability to manage time well, prioritise effectively and handle multiple deadlines.
