Description
Are you a production operative who has previous experience in the electronics sector. My client, one of the top electronic companies in the Southwest is recruiting a Production Operative.

The main part of the role will be working on the production and prototyping of audio engineering products, specifically on the population of printed circuit boards through the surface mount production lines.

This is a full time permanent role paying £21,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience.


Key Duties/Skills

  • Operate a surface mount production line using Mydata/Mycronic placement machines and a range of other associated equipment.
  • Work within the IPC-A610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies standard.
  • Be able to recognise different component types and their associated polarities.
  • Recognise manufacturing defects and offer suggestions towards a resolution.
  • Follow operating instructions and procedures.
  • Responsible for the quality of their own work and to be able to inspect their own and fellow employee's work.
  • Contribute improvement ideas on quality, productivity and the working environment.
  • Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • To always adhere to the Health and Safety policies of the company

Must work well within a team environment.

  • Must be able to respond positively to reasonable instructions.
