Responsibilities:


  • Provide personal care assistance to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Help with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes or facilities

Skills:


  • Knowledge of basic personal care techniques and procedures
  • Understanding of safety precautions when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client's privacy
  • Patience and empathy when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
  • Good time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 16-40 per week


Salary:
£11.00-£11.40 per hour
