The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving Lean Six Sigma improvements in the manufacturing and distribution processes at our businesses London and Evesham, Worcestershire.
In this role, you will ensure process safety, drive and implement continuous improvement and operational excellence activities.

This position requires a safety-first mind set, strong continuous improvement skills, and experience in planning, scheduling andcontinuous improvement (Kaizen) activities in production and distribution facilities.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Related Subject
HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering/ Experience

Required Type / Length of Experience:

5 years minimum experience in ISO 9001 or other QMS Environment
Six Sigma/ Lean certification

Other Requirements:

Understanding of Spring Terminology

Confident with PC's

Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Independent experience & ability to demonstrate Continuous Improvement, 5s, Lean Manufacturing Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis
Teach / lead / coach crossfunctional teams across 2 sites on Lean Six Sigma tools & methodology
Identifying / prioritising improvements (basis of gains & effort required)
Resolving technical problems (equipment, product, interpretation of regulations, formulation)
Management and manufacturing duties (warehouse operations)
