Key Responsibilities/duties:

Purpose
of Job:

To lead and develop Portland training's newest AEB contract delivered in Greater London Authority.

To be responsible for all aspects of contract mobilisation including stakeholder engagement, effective learner journey and ensuring financial profiles are met.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maximise the AEB contract to meet funders and company's profile.
  • Oversee contract delivery to ensure quality and compliance is adhered to in line with external funding body requirements.
  • Monitor and report on retention and conversion rates.
  • Provide robust feedback and data to all referral partners on a regular basis.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships (such as funders, LEPS, JCP's and referral partners), developing and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure we receive sufficient referrals to meet contract and attendance profiles.
  • Ensure that contract and referral profiles are met monthly. Any underperformance is actioned promptly, and actions are agreed and implemented to improve.
  • Accurately completing all enrolment and exit paperwork with learners to a quality standard.
  • Providing effective CEIAG to the new learner as appropriate.
  • Conducting initial assessments with learners.
  • Provide an exceptional level of service to both external and internal clients.
  • Research partners and employers to identify key relationships and generate interest.
  • Collaborate with management and marketing colleagues to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships.
  • Deliver a great experience to our stakeholders as you will represent our brand and be our stakeholder's liaison internally.
  • To identify all learner needs to ensure clear and timely progression routes.
  • To engage and establish local employer relationships guaranteeing ring fenced vacancies for Portland Training learners.
  • To coordinate all employer visits taking place at the course venues or local stakeholders premises.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the AEB contract in line with Portland Training's strategic plan.
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of Portland Training's activities & services to act as an ambassador and representative.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Experience of establishing/maintaining relationships with employers that resulted in job starts and ring fenced vacancies.
  • Demonstrable track record of personally meeting agreed sales/activity targets within previous programmes of a similar nature.
  • Knowledge of the labour market demands and ability to research potential opportunities.
  • Ability to produce reports and present to senior management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills both in verbal and writing.
  • Ability to use initiative and be flexible in approach.
  • Contribute and work well as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence, own vehicle and business insurance as travelling will be required.
