Job Objectives and Responsibilities:


  • This role will support the HR Shared Services by taking the lead on systems enhancements and development in support of the HR agenda. Working closely with the external 3rd party IT provider, this role will manage the implementation of any systems change, including documenting requirements, testing and business communications. This role will also champion Data Integrity across all HR systems. This will involve leading data projects and interrogating data sources throughout the business.
  • This role will have the opportunity to work closely with the HR Senior Management team, and will gain exposure by leading and supporting on a number of high profile projects.

Main Duties:


  • To be a systems expert on all HR systems, and to be an expert on the wider People Systems landscape
  • Be able to provide technical advice to stakeholders on systems best practice
  • Lead systems change projects and ensure that all requirements are clearly captured.
  • Lead on systems testing and communications to the business as required
  • Champion Systems governance and ensure that any changes to the systems are appropriate and are signed off accordingly
  • Audit HR systems access and ensure that Systems security is maintained at all times in line with GDPR
  • Support Data Uploads and mass data updates within SuccessFactors
  • Act as a technical ambassador for other teams within HR Shared Services to improve the quality of information inputted and exported from the HR system
  • Produce monthly data quality reports for the business and manage these through to completion to improve data integrity within the HR system
  • Lead the monthly inactive worker processes
  • Data gathering and statistical analysis for adhoc reporting and regular HR reports e.g. employee surveys and data reconciliation
  • Actively support HR Shared Services in the delivery of companywide HR projects
  • Evaluate the accuracy of data and suggest process improvements and data cleansing activities for ongoing improvement
  • Present data in a format that is clear, accurate and meaningful to the customer
  • Act as a point of escalation for systems issues
  • Audit systems access and ensure that offshore teams have sufficient accreditation before granting access

What we are looking for:


  • Strong knowledge of multiple HR disciplines and Systems SME experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience of working in a HR Shared Service Centre (preferred)
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills (experience of leading projects preferred)
  • Experience of organising the activity of others or Line Management (preferred)
  • Strong ability in process review and reengineering using LEAN methodology (preferred)
  • A selfstarter with a drive to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ability to think outside of the box and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Very well organised, with ability to work to tight deadlines and varying and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Experience of working with or managing outsourced service provisions (preferred)
  • Ability to work well in a team and to work on own initiative
  • Ability to manage the expectations of business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
