Description
The role involves administering daily payments for pigs, and ensuring correct and timely payments are made.

The successful person will also get involved in the scheduling of pig loads, arranging farm audits and the maintenance of pig data and databases.

This is a business-critical activity.
Karro is a leading producer of both fresh and cooked pork products with c. 4,500 employees over 14 sites across the UK and Ireland. The business supplies to retail, foodservice and manufacturing customers across the UK, as well as export customers globally.
We have full production chain visibility and our pork is eaten by millions of consumers every year.

  • Ensure correct and timely payments are made for pig purchases
  • Schedule pig loads
  • Arrange farm audits
  • Maintain pig data and databases
  • Proactive health and safety is a prerequisite to employment at Karro Foods. All roles have a responsibility to demonstrate commitment to the companies' health and safety goals, and as such it forms an essential component of all job descriptions, at all levels.
  • Required education, skills and experience
  • Previous administration experience in a busy office environment
  • At least 5 GCSEs including English & Maths
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately with figures
  • Preferred education, skills and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to work on initiative
Hours: 24 per week Work 8 hours per day

  • Monday & Friday plus one other day (negotiable)
