The Best Connection is currently looking for an warehouse Supervisor to join their client based in the Glasgow City Centre area starting ASAP on an ongoing basis.


This role will involve:


  • Working along side the inventory department to ensure that all performance targets are achieved and exceeded on shift.
  • Provide effective leadership, communication and direction to all colleagues and ensure they collectively perform to their full potential, specifically by meeting quality and service targets.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies for both Health & Safety and Food safety for their area.
  • Support the Site Operations Manager with the day to day resources planning for their area of control in line with required business needs, including tackling performance issues, identification of training needs, reviewing productivity.
  • Manage performance using KPI and productivity rates for activity's
  • Support colleagues development plans for the team ensuring equal opportunity
  • Managing Holidays & Sickness

For this role you will need the following:

  • Previous warehouse Supervisor experience is essential
  • Leadership qualities
  • Good communication skills and strong problem solving skills
  • Use own initiative
  • Flexible approach to working hours

Hours:


  • 5 days out of 7
  • 23:00 06:00

  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
