Do you want to support pupils to achieve the best of their ability?
Have you experience supporting SEND or a knowledge and understanding of complex needs or experience supporting in a care setting and would like to use your transferable skills to support students in a specialist primary school setting?
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to work in a Specialist Primary School in Salford for a fixed term position.
The pupils at this school have various learning difficulties, including autism spectrum conditions (ASC), severe learning difficulties (SLD), multiple learning difficulties (MLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
Several of the pupils have additional needs that they need support or guidance with so you may be required to aid with these (e.g. feeding, administering medication).
The school has access to many fantastic facilities and professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapist and speech and language therapists to name a few.

The requirements for the role are:
- DBS on the update service
- Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs
- A dedication to helping pupils to achieve their full potential
- Being calm and resilient person
- Passionate about supporting students to achieve the best they can
