We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service position to work within our busy Trade Waste Office Team.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm based in Saltersford MJ Church Office, Chippenham.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?


Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) is essential for this but more importantly you need empathy and emotional intelligence as the interactions you will have will be with people who may not be having a good day.

Experience handling complaints would be ideal but more importantly any experience dealing with customer service or the public day to day would be great (i.e., retail, call centre, hospitality etc)

Starting salary:
£
26,000 per annum

28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays),


Applicants will need to possess the following skills & attributes;

  • Able to communicate directly and confidently with clients
  • Good allround customer service skills
  • External and internal communication skills
  • Good telephone manner, warm and friendly
  • Listening skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • IT literate; some excel knowledge desirable
  • Preferred but not essential geographical knowledge of our region, and in particular Bristol and Bath, Wilthshire
  • High level of common sense
  • Good at working as part of a team but also able to work off own initiative

Day to Day Duties will be;

  • Answering telephone
  • Dealing with client queries and questions
  • Inputting and setting up new sites and clients on inhouse software, also updating data in the system
  • Problem solving service issues to clients' satisfaction
  • Facilitation of daytoday operations with line manager
  • Internally communicate with other departments as required

You may also have experience of:Customer Service Assistant, Customer Agent, Customer Service Officer, Customer Service Adviser, Customer Service Admin, Customer Service Coordinator, Client Service Advisor, Client Service Adviser, Client Service Officer, Client Service.
