PURPOSE


We are looking for talented individuals who want some variety in their work life, covering a number of operational and customer focussed administrative roles, across a number of departments within the business.


We want individuals who are confident utilising their skillsets across a number of administrative functions, ranging from direct contact with consumers to solve a delivery issue to loading products into an online Marketplace to negotiating with corporate customers to place orders.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To liaise with customers in a professional manner whether this is a complaint or sales enquiry
  • To set achievable and realistic timescales with customers when resolving issues
  • To deliver high level of services when answering calls to clients and customers, using a professional and helpful tone
  • To work with delivery companies to make sure they are meeting the standards expected, process claims and to feedback any issues
  • To update internal systems and client systems with tracking and order information in a timely manner
  • To liaise with colleagues within the Customer Experience team to gain and share best practice and throughout the business to keep updated with product knowledge
  • To provide administrative support to the wider business and to become an operational champion across multiple business functions
  • To support the management of Marketplace sales activity.

PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Fluent English speaker, educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Calm under pressure, understanding the need for an attention to detail and always putting the customer first are key attributes that we look for.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to empathise and listen to a customer's needs
  • Experience within the customer service and/or business administration environment
  • Flexible in approach and able to adapt to a fastpaced and everchanging working environment
  • To be fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • A high level of proficiency in Sage 200 or Advanced Excel skills would be a bonus, though personality and the ability to interact positively with consumers is the key requirement for the role.
  • Experience with Marketplace sales, such as Amazon, eBay, Wayfair would be highly advantageous
