Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant:


A school in the Telford are looking for caring, supportive and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to join their community.

The needs that you will most likely be supporting include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).


The schools want highly skilled, well qualified and experienced staff, who have strong backgrounds in supporting special educational needs they are hoping to find people who share the values of inclusiveness, diversity and student development.


  • Have experience working in schools with SEN children
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
  • Be resilient and emotionally aware
  • Support the teacher with a well differentiated, relevant and creative curriculum
  • Create a creative, safe, nurturing and empathic learning environment
