Blackout Ltd are looking for a permanent Warehouse Assistant to join our busy team.

  • Working hours 09:00 17:30, Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours working week
- £24,000 per annum after probation (£12.30 per hour)

  • 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:

  • A Team player.
  • Flexible.
  • Able to work to fixed deadlines.
  • Fit with the ability to lift heavy items.
  • Willing to work overtime on occasion

THE ROLE ENTAILS:

  • Vehicle loading/unloading.
  • Drape cleaning and folding.
  • Accurate order picking to schedule.
  • Prompt and efficient offhire checking.
  • Stock checks as required.
  • General housekeeping of department.
  • Maintain safe working practices in line with company policy.
  • Undertake job swaps to assist other departments as necessary.

COMPANY BACKGROUND:


Blackout was founded in 1990 as a supplier of drapes, rigging and starcloth to the many industries and institutions that require these services including events, conference, concert, exhibition, theatre, film and television.

£24,000.00 per year
