Description

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual labour
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the delivery vehicle

Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and procedures
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
