Lifeline Fire & Safety Systems Ltd are the leading global manufacturer of fire suppression & safety equipment to the motorsport & defence sectors.
The company designs, develops & manufactures innovative products, used by many of the world's leading teams' constructors & defence primes from its headquarters in Coventry.
Due to expansion, we are looking for a shipping administrator/receptionist to join our sales team.The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
- Meet & greet of all visitors (making teas/coffees)
- Answering reception phone & directing customers to the relevant departments
- Filing paperwork/note taking
- Ensuring reception & boardroom areas are kept tidy
- Accurately input data into shipping portals to send orders worldwide & checking boxes are labelled correctly before they leave the premises
- Shipping pallet orders (UK & overseas) & communicating with freight companies
- Producing paperwork for collection orders
- Obtaining shipping quotations
- Maintaining a log of pallet shipments for traceability
- Processing card payments
You will need to demonstrate the following attributes/skills:
- Excellent communication & organisation skills
- Previous administration/data inputting experience preferable
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently
- Experience with shipping orders overseas would be preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
Salary:
£23,000 per year
Hours:
Monday to Thursday minute lunch), Friday
