Description
The Finance Analyst will report to the Head of FP&A, UK and would suit a person wanting to accelerate their development in a role with a wide remit and opportunity to act as key business partner to senior managers within the business, across commercial,operational and service divisions.
While the role currently does not have any direct reports, there will be responsibility for managing contributions from finance shared service centers and departmental budget holders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Completion of specified monthly financial reporting and analysis to Head of FP&A to a high standard
- Under the guidance of the Head of FP&A, complete the quarterly forecasting requirements for agreed departments to a high standard and to required deadlines being able to identify and communicate risks and opportunities to delivery of the forecast commitment
- Serve as a key finance business partner to business managers across multiple departments providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision making
- Act as key commercial finance partner to sales managers for specified divisions, supporting with monthly projections, data analysis, pricing and any ad hoc requests.
- Completion of monthly financial reporting packs for budget holders and commercial managers
- Adhoc project work as required
Profile
The successful Finance Analyst will be a Part Qualified Accountant (QBE will be considered dependent on experience) with significant experience within a finance function, ideally focusing on budgeting, forecasting and business partnering
The individualwill have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong computer skills especially MS Office (Advanced Excel skills essential)
- Able to interact with key stakeholders at a senior level
- Experience in supporting commercial teams is an advantage
- Experience of Hyperion and SAP is an advantage
Job Offer
The salary on offer is between £40,000 and £50,000 dependent upon experience and level of qualification. An extension benefits package and hybrid working is also on offer.
