Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cook on a full time basis for South Prom Coffee Shop.


As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

If you have a passion for the culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Previous experience is essential and applicants must be flexible to work weekdays and weekends on a rota basis, therefore this job is not suitable for students.


Duties:


  • Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
  • Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed
  • Ensure the kitchen meets all sanitary and food safety standards
  • Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar environment
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus

Job Types:

Pay:
£8.30-£12.00 per hour
