Reed Engineering has partnered with a leading Electrochemical engineering company in Oxfordshire to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer support the senior Electrical Engineer the provision of a high-quality electrical engineering as part of the ProjectEngineering Design Team.

The Company is at the cutting edge of electro chlorination plant design and manufacture.

Its products are used across a wide range of industries for the treatment of large quantities of water to prevent bio fouling.

They provide a full turnkey supply, installationand commissioning service to its customers which, together with excellent manufacturing, technical and research & development facilities allow it to participate in some of the largest projects including large desalination plants, power generation and oil industryprojects.

The company is capitalising on a growing demand for its expertise and services in the green energy sales market and its aftersales markets.

What You Will Do:

Learn to support Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in the design, planning, implementation of electrochlorination systems for shipboard, oil, gas, windfarm, and water industries in both safe and hazardous area locations.
Learn to generate project documentation such us single line diagrams, interconnecting wirings, cable list, cable routing, selection of electrical hardware (e.g. cables, cable glands and cable trays) equipment data sheets, I/O List, Instrument List, and productionof procurement schedules (BOM).
Liaise with suppliers when required as directed by senior electrical engineer.
Learn to interpret drawings, specifications and resolve field issues.
Learn to produce specifications to enable procurement of electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
Use project management software for automatic project reporting using MS Office,
Support senior electrical engineer in conducting product and process QA auditing in line with ISO9001:2015 Standard.
Support senior electrical engineer, as required, in reviewing subcontractors document submissions, and extract relevant information for project design.

About You

12 years of electrical design experience helpful, although very keen and coachable fresh graduates will be considered
Some experience helpful in project engineering, project planning, system design, technical specifications, documentation and coordination of all project disciplines.
Minimum BTEC National Diploma in Engineering
Preferred Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree (BEng)
Computer Literate with working knowledge and understanding of various Microsoft windows

Salary:
£25-30,000 p.a. depending on experience, this is a Graduate or near-Graduate role so naturally the initial salary is eclipsed by the career growth potential and future reward.
