Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Home Instead Team Tamworth.

The Job role is for waking overnight support for an elderly Gentleman living in Tamworth. This support is to allow him to stay independent within his own home. The role is to provide reassurance and confidence to the client and offer support and assistance during the night. This role is a Wake in night for 10 hours 10pm-8am.

The Gentleman needs support 7 nights a week therefore you will be part of a team who provides his weekly support.


You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Wake in night Carer, However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people.

This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable with spending time in the company of others.

Our Care Givers provide companionship, meal preparation, dementia support, help with personal hygiene routines and light housework


Qualifications:


Non train to the highest of standards however if you have provided help and support to a family member that is an advantage.

Additional Information


As a Care Giver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay £11.00 per hour and excellent support.
