About the department:

Jigsaw Support provides a range of contracted services aimed at helping vulnerable people with complex needs.

Our services are split into the following service areas:


  • Homes & Safe Spaces homelessness prevention and support
  • Support & Refuge support for people fleeing domestic abuse
  • Motivation & Empowerment supporting families, children and individuals


  • Prevention & Communities

  • Preventative services and community support


We also run a peer mentoring and volunteering service enabling people with lived experience to help our customers on their journeys to recovery.

Bridges is the commissioned Domestic Abuse service for Tameside.

We are going through an exciting time of change, growth and development.

There are 3 parts to the service:
Our refuge supports women and children who have fled domestic abuse, providing a place of safety and support.


Our Outreach team consists of IDVAs and Keyworkers, who support all domestic abuse victims across all risk levels on an outreach basis.

The Outreach team also includes a Safe Accommodation Service Team, who support victims and their children to access safe accommodation and support them whilst there.

Our children's team supports children and young people impacted by domestic abuse.


Role information:


Please note this role is Fixed Term until 31st March 2024
The Bridges Safe Accommodation Team Keyworker will support domestic abuse victims who do not feel safe at home.

They will support them through a range of options including home security measures, accessing refuge and accessing other emergency, temporary accommodation.

The keyworker will be co-located between the Bridges Outreach team and Tameside Housing Advice
