What will the apprentice be doing on site

EN:
Able Futures, an award-winning apprenticeship employer, are partnering with Sunter Limited, to find a Property Maintenance Apprentice.

Relevant information about the project
As a Property/Building Maintenance Apprentice, you will learn and assist with commercial property maintenance in:

Carpentry and Joinery
Painting and Decorating
Tiling
Plastering
Roofing
Brickwork and Stone masonry

Undertaking a variety of day-to-day tasks to commercial properties at various locations, for example:

Box in downpipe
Flush out rainwater down pipes
Repair leak to roof ceiling
Repair and replace plaster and skirting board
Investigate service road flood, repair/replace as necessary
Repair broken door
Replace and install new door
Repair damp issue to internal wall
Repair and replace wooden flooring

Essential qualities

Have a desire to learn a variety of construction related skills spanning across different trades.
Be punctual and reliable
Be flexible and adaptable
Be a good team player
Be committed to learning and achievement of apprenticeship

Qualifications Required
4 GCSE's Grade 4-9 including Maths and English

Relevant information about the site
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (with a 15:30 finish on Fridays)
39 Hours Per Week

£222.92 Per Week (This is made up of the National Apprenticeship Wage, plus £17 travel allowance)
