Are you an experienced Tutor/Assessor, looking for a new and exciting challenge? Do you have experience within the Manufacturing Industry?_


Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent
Pre-Employment Tutor/Assessor (Manufacturing) to work for a highly reputable client based in
Hebburn. Our client is a National Training Provider and this role will be working within their Pre-Employment Team, at Head Office and various teaching sites across the Northeast of England.


Pre-Employment Tutor/Assessor (Manufacturing)
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all learners maximise their potential and achieve their learning targets.
  • Be responsible for the student learning outcomes including student progress, achievement, and success.
  • To teach and assess learning on a range of programmes to meet the requirements of the Education Inspection Framework.
  • Undertake duties in line with the Quality Management System (QMS), including Internal Verification/IQA.
  • To track learner progress through standardised company systems.
  • To ensure that learners receive a full induction, and it is recorded.
  • To plan, develop and maintain schemes of work and lesson plans and course materials.
  • To liaise with relevant departments to meet the support needs of students, including additional learning support and Maths and English.
  • To manage a caseload of apprentices, ensuring all learners maximise their potential and achieve their learning targets.
  • To carry out individualised and detailed reviews in line with company policy.
  • Preparing and supporting apprentices for endpoint assessment.
  • To ensure timely completion of all the appropriate training records for learners.
  • To meet the awarding organisation requirements for assessment.
  • To ensure timely completion of all the appropriate training records for learners.
  • To provide timely assessment and feedback to all learners.
  • To ensure all learners achieve their planned programme within their allocated time through effective programme management.
  • Be responsible for the health and safety of students, ensuring that clear instructions are given in order to provide a safe learning environment.
  • Take part in CPD and industrial updating as requested.
  • Any other duties as requested by line manager.

Applicants:


Essential:


  • Hold a Level 2 in English or Level 2 in Mathematics.
  • Equivalent Level 3 Teaching/Training or appropriate Vocational Qualifications.


  • Level 3 TAQA/A

  • Safeguarding, E&D, British Values, PREVENT and Health & Safety.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Experience of teaching or training within the adult sector, within the Manufacturing sector.
  • Assessing vocational knowledge.
  • Ability to deliver Information, Advice and Guidance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of teaching and training techniques.
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage lessons.
  • Knowledge of IT systems.
  • Ability to deliver training to groups and individuals.
  • Knowledge of equality and diversity and safeguarding.
  • Ability to motivate people of all ages & backgrounds.
  • Selfmanagement abilities.
  • Ability to engage positively with people of all ages & backgrounds.
  • A flexible proactive approach to work.
  • Willingness to undertake further learning and development.

Desirable:


  • Hold a Level 2 in IT.
  • Hold a Level 2 Equality & Diversity.
  • Hold a Level 4 IQA Equivalent Level 4 Training or appropriate Vocational Qualifications such as Certificate of Education.
  • Demonstrating experience of designing and delivering innovative and creative training including training material.
  • Experience of designing and delivering innovative training material.
  • Knowledge of Education Based Quality Management Systems.

This is a Full-Time role, working Monday - Friday.
