Salary:
£50,000+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Leading a Project Controls team on a Ship Repair Project and coordinating their output to ensure all project controls deliverables are met in line with the project drumbeat
- Undertaking project performance analysis, to satisfy reporting demands and decision making
- Acting as the main point of contact for the Project Manager and to support with all Project Controls requirements
- Upskilling less experienced Project Controllers through on the job training/guidance/coaching
- Supporting the Project Controls Capability Lead in implementing new or improved processes, and drive these within your Project
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Good knowledge/experience of planning, tracking, and reporting using SAP
- Knowledge and experience of conducting Schedule Risk Analysis
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to support others, sharing knowledge readily, and foster team working
- Scheduling experience, using Microsoft Project
- Good understanding/experience of Earned Value Management and various other PM&C tools and techniques

The Project Controls team - Ship Delivery:
The teams work focuses on the Type 45 ship platform, and the upkeep and maintenance projects within, encompassing the PIP (Power Improvement Programme), that are critical for the longevity of service.
The role will provide you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, with real exposure to senior management within the business, and will offer progression towards a Project Management role or a more senior Project Controls role.
