Hornchurch Healthcare is a growing and ambitious practice committed to providing high quality patient care whilst fostering a safe and fulfilling working environment.

We are looking for a friendly, empathetic and collaborative individual to join our team.

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • To be the first point of contact for patients, reflecting the ethos and values of the practice with every interaction
  • namely, to act with integrity and show respect, putting our patients at the forefront and displaying a sincere commitment to offering the best possible care.
  • Triaging patients' calls signposting patients to the most appropriate service in a calm, professional and reassuring manner.
  • Processing repeat prescriptions in a prompt fashion.
  • To support the practice in achieving its targets for QOF; for instance, the booking and recalling of patients for annual reviews.
  • Answering the phones in a timely manner, ensuring that incoming calls are covered at all times and that messages are recorded and conveyed to the appropriate recipient without delay.
  • Scanning documents to patients' records making certain that all data is accurate and uptodate, whilst preserving patient confidentiality.
