    Investment Associate – Structured Credit

    About the Role:

    We are partnering with a leading private capital asset manager to appoint an Associate within its Structured Credit team.

    This firm is recognised for its innovative investment strategies and has over £2 billion in assets under management.

    The Team:

    You will join a high-performing, fast-paced team that contributes to the full investment lifecycle—from origination through execution and portfolio management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the origination and execution of structured credit investments, primarily in ABS.
    • Conduct credit and risk analysis across a range of asset classes, including SME financing, student loans, auto loans (including green ABS), and credit cards.
    • Assist with deal structuring, modelling, and documentation, ensuring robust investment execution.
    • Manage ongoing performance analysis and monitoring of credit portfolios.
    • Engage with external counterparties, including arrangers, originators, and advisers.
    • Prepare investment committee materials and contribute to internal decision-making processes.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: 3–5+ years in structured credit at a bank, credit fund, or related institution.
    • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of securitisation structures, especially SME, unsecured consumer, auto, and green ABS.
    • Private Credit Focus: Must have experience in private credit transactions—public-only experience will not be considered.
    • Exceptionally high standards and strong commercial judgment.
    • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and able to operate in a lean, high-performance team.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a genuine curiosity for complex credit structures.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Resilient and pragmatic, with a collaborative and hands-on mindset.
