Permanent (Full-Time, 40 Hrs)

Here at Serco, we are looking for a ROTL Admin to join the team at our new state of the art Category C prison, HMP Fosse Way.

The role of an ROTL Admin is to work as part of a team, ensuring up to date prisoner records are kept throughout periods in custody whether on remand or sentenced.

In addition, allocating work to Prison/Probation Offender Managers and obtaining information to assist with and inform risk management.

Updating prison recording systems (NOMIS/DPS/local databases) following admission of all new prisoners whether remand/sentenced.
Allocating cases to Prison Offender Manager (POM) caseloads.
Identifying those requiring risk assessments such as initial and recategorisations as well as OASys/Sentence Planning.
Scheduling, attending and completing minutes for meetings such as IPP progression panels and monthly Inter-Departmental Risk Management meetings (IRMT).
Obtaining information in regards to MAPPA categories and levels.
Overseeing functional mailboxes, obtaining legal documentation and warrants following court/videolink appearances
Liaising with both internal and external agencies on behalf of the Offender Management Unit
Contributing to the smooth running and overall performance within the department
General admin filing of documents/parcels as well as collecting/sending mail for the department

What you will need to do the role
Recognised qualification in Maths and English/

IT Literate.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Good working knowledge of databases e.g., P NOMIS

Demonstration of flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
