12-month maternity cover contract (starting 3 April 2023)

Full-time role and hybrid working with at least 1 day in our London office each week

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

Our aim is a healthier population, supported by high quality health care that can be equitably accessed. We learn what works tomake people's lives healthier and improve the health care system.

We are seeking to appoint an Information Compliance Assistant (Maternity Cover) who will be an important part of the Information Compliance Team.

This team assumes responsibility for the Foundation's Information Security Management System that supports ourISO27001 accreditation and for our improving our overall position relating to data protection and information security through IGMG and SDEMG.

The purpose of the role is to:

Assist in the provision of day-to-day support, advice, and guidance to all colleagues in relation to compliance aspects of our organisation.
Support the various governance, risk, and information compliance meetings within the Foundation.
Support the implementation of security processes and requirements
Provide support to the Information Compliance Manager across the broader range of data governance and security matters embracing ISO27001 and DSPT accreditations.
Assist in the training and awareness across the Foundation.
An understanding of data protection principles
Excellent attention to detail and an organised analytical approach to addressing problems
