The Credit Controller role is a Temporary to Permanent role and will be 100% office based in Stockport.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Key responsibilities will include:


  • Ensure debts are paid in a timely manner.
  • Chase overdue debts & collect payment.
  • Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring in payment.
  • Put accounts on stop where appropriate.
  • Process Cash on Delivery and Credit Card receipts.
  • Proof of delivery, copy invoices, correct invoice and account errors.
  • Debtor Account maintenance.
  • Maintain records; collection activity, Cash on delivery & Credit Card Debtor lists, names, address and Credit limits up to date.
  • Credit rating renewals for End of month debtors.
  • Other general administrative tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Have previous experience in Credit Control
  • Be able to commute to Stockport office
  • Be able to consider a temporary to Permanent role
