Washington wine and conveniance is looking for a Cashier Sales to join our team in Washington. We are a leading manufacturer of industrial and commercial plumbing products.


Job Summary:

The Cashier Sales is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring all sales transactions are completed in a timely manner.

Core Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer customer questions
• Process sales in a timely manner, ensuring that customer payments are complete, inventory is correct, and no customer complaints are left.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
• Provide accurate information regarding cash handling procedures, pricing, and ordering when necessary.
• Answer any questions customers may have regarding product features or specific questions about the cashier position or the store.
• Handle customer complaints in a timely manner, ensuring that customer payments are complete, inventory is correct, and no customer complaints are left.
• Follow procedures for opening and closing of store when required.

Stay up-to-date with industry changes and improve existing procedures.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a cashier, cashier helper, or similar role.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment including POS systems. (Washington wine and conveniance offers training to all new employees)
• Ability to work well in team environments with different personalities.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Professional attitude along with excellent customer service skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£7.20-£11.00 per hour

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

• Driving Licence (preferred)
