Our client is a successful Top-20 accountancy practice, specialising in supporting owner-managed businesses. They now have an opportunity for a Tax Compliance Manager to join the business and provide a range of compliance and review work for thefirm's clients.

About the role
This role would suit an experienced manager, looking for a new role with leadership responsibilities.

Reporting to the Senior Managers/Partners, the Tax Compliance Managerwill oversee the delivery of corporate tax and personal tax compliance work for businessesand their owners.

Key aspects of the role include:

Managing the tax compliance processes to ensure tax returns are filed on a timely basis and clients are advised of tax payments;
Reviewing corporation tax computations, returns and statutory accounts tax disclosures; personal tax returns and computations; trust tax returns and nonresident company returns;
Preparation of more complex computations and returns;
Following established procedures for workflows and updating these when necessary;
Dealing with tax enquiries, conducting technical research, monitoring chargeability on a weekly basis and liaising with Partners;
Acting as Line manager for Tax Senior, delegating work as appropriate.
