Description
A niche Investment business is looking to hire a Compliance Manager, specialising in Insurance, to join their small Compliance function.
The role is a Generalist Compliance role that will work closely with the Legal team and advise their Underwriting businesson a daily basis whilst also gaining experience within the broader Investment Management business.
Main Responsibilities
- Update policies and procedures to ensure the businesses operate within FCA rules and industry best practice
- Review and approve financial promotions/marketing materials
- Create the annual compliance training plan to ensure that all FCA training requirements are met.
- Maintain and develop, as necessary, the current compliance and operational risk framework
- Complete regulatory compliance monitoring and testing to ensure the business adhere to controls processes
- Keep abreast of changes in regulation in all relevant jurisdictions
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years Compliance experience working within a similar Insurance business.
- Experience of ATE Insurance, preferable.
- Degree Educated.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
