Overall Purpose of Job
Support the day-to-day financial requirements of our clients and ensure that client Financial Regulations and Procedures are adhered to at all times.
- To authorise and process a large number of client contractor/supplier invoices in a precise and timely manner
- To raise purchase orders on behalf of our clients to subcontractors/suppliers as requested
- To produce electronic journals for clients at the required frequencies
- To check off statements from client contractors/suppliers
- To liaise with client finance departments
- To liaise with Facility Managers and onsite personnel to action any queries
- To work in accordance with client financial policies and procedures
- To liaise with client contractors and suppliers on a daily basis to answer any queries that they might have with regard to payment dates, etc.
- To carry out administrative tasks involved in setting up new supplier/contractor accounts
- To produce financial reports for external and internal clients, verifying data before issue on a weekly and monthly basis
- To assist in the payment of Workplace contractors/suppliers as and when required
- To assist the Workplace Financial Controller / Client Accountant as and when required
- Provide administrative support to the Field Based team of Mobile Facility Managers
- General filing duties (electronic or manual) including the requirement that the filing system be neat and tidy to aid speedy retrieval of any information
- To promote good relationships with clients, contractors and supplier and site personnel and to project a professional image of Workplace at all times
- Carry out any other duties as requested
- Team Player with a positive approach, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, strong communication skills and a good sense of humour.
- Previous experience of Purchase Ledger or finance role preferred.
